Just finished Order of Britain: Stone of Madness. I’ve got to admit, the last part of this was a bit of a trial for me – having decided to redo the ending a few days ago, it took me several days to find the focus to actually go and sort the bloody thing out.
It’s far from perfect, but I’m much happier with it than I was. I’ve ended it on a slightly more cliffhangery note than the other books I’ve done, mainly because the Order of Britain series has a much tighter story arc than the High Moon Rising.
I’ve also finally settled on a title for the Crossover story I’m doing between the two series in… woo, six months time. Jeez, that’s certainly creeping up.
Anyways, the title for the crossover is The Call of Herne. I guess that gives away the main enemy. I’ve had a bit of a fascination with Herne the Hunter since I watched “The Box of Delights” When I was a kid. He’s cropped up a couple of times in other books I’ve enjoyed as well, so I look forward to working with him.
AS it were.
Anyway, the next day or so needs to be dedicated to sorting out the proof for High Moon Rising: Volume One. As exciting as it is to see my name in print, it’s a lot harder to edit than a kindle file!
