I had stuff I needed to do today…

It has been an… unproductive few days. The first couple of days of the weekend were for a good reason – my mum came up to visit, and so I elected to spend time with her, oddly enough!

The rest of Monday was spent tidying the house – we had a landlord inspection we needed to get through, so by the time I sat down to write this evening I was just so exhausted that I couldn’t focus.

So, even with the 40k mark of Call of Herne a tantalising 470 words away, I gibbed it off. I instead spent the evening finalising the proofs for the paperback versions of High Moon RisingVolume Two and Order of Britain: Volume One. There was a fair amount of page drift, which is the bane of my existence, but its all corrected now and I should be getting them sorted and out for availability by the end of the week

Tomorrow, though, tomorrow is a new day. 40k, here we come. I may even finish the damn thing before June.
